Obituary of Mary Buchanan

Mary Buchanan, 86, passed away on June 24, 2021. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 12 Noon at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Jason Mincey will officiate. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 10 AM – 12 Noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, in memory of Mary.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy, son-in-law Robert, six grandchildren Brandon, Ashleigh, Jordon, Abby, Julia, Baily and six great-grandchildren Ryleigh, Emorie, Lawson, Haddie-Walker, Olivia, and Hayden. Mary was preceded in death by two husbands Frank Beebout, George Buchanan, and her son John Beebout.

Mary loved her church and was involved in many activities including her beloved Sunday school class. She will be deeply missed by many and remembered for her love of coffee, books, scrabble, Neil Diamond, and morning crossword puzzles. She will be missed and remembered by many names Mom, Grandmama, Gigi, Aunt, sister, and Friend.
