Obituary of Ezekiel Amaree Adside

Please share a memory of Ezekiel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ezekiel Amaree Adside entered this life on June 28, 2021 in Cumming, GA. Within the first five minutes of his life it was clear that his purpose on this earth could not be hindered. Given a name that means, "Strengthened by God" for "Greatness," at just 5 lbs. and 10 oz, he was taken home from Northside Hospital with thanks given to God, and the hopes and prayers for the many ways he would manifest his name. Not to mention such a calm demeanor and cool vibe, which earned him the nickname, "Mr. Chill City."

If you were ever blessed to hold him, you were captivated by his big, beautiful eyes. Eyes so bright and wise that if you sat quietly, you could feel them drawing you in, ever so close, that you couldn't help but to profess your love for him.

For those who understood how to accurately describe it, they knew that the anointing God placed on his life compelled people to bless him. Even some who never met him, or his mother were led to shower him with love; sending gifts to help provide for his every need.

The birth of a baby has a unique and special way of bringing joy and light into a home. Likewise, the loss of one challenges us to find peace and gratitude for having been chosen to hold and love such a good and perfect gift, sent down from above.

On Tuesday, July 27, 2021, Ezekiel closed his eyes in the home of his mother and opened them in the home of his Heavenly Father. We honor the memory of his grandmother, Ursel Adside, who would have cherished holding him and becoming lovingly lost in his eyes.

Among those whose lives he has changed are his mother, Taita Adside; his father, Deondre Dryden; his grandfather, Lyndon Adside, his uncles, Tyrell, Tyrice and Anthony Adside, his grandmother, Petula Parris, and an innumerable amount of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, friends-who- became-family, and others who can be forever enriched by the purpose of his priceless life.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 5 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 4 – 5 PM at the funeral home.
