Obituary of Kathy Pruitt

Kathy Pruitt, of Buford, GA, died Monday, November 29, 2021. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 3 PM at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Chad Roebuck will officiate. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to Buford First United Methodist Church, in memory of Kathy. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, William Hoyt Miller, Sr.; mother, Irene Roper; brother, Terry Miller; father-in-law, W.R. “Dudge” Pruitt; mother-in-law, Betty Pruitt. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Pruitt, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff Pruitt, Jr. and Laura; grandchildren, Kirsten, Chesney, Knox and Tinsley; brother, Hoyt Miller, Jr.; sister, Vicki Green; several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends. Kathy was born in Austell, GA and was a long-time resident of the Buford area. She was a graduate of North Gwinnett High School, Class of 1974. Kathy referred to herself as a domestic engineer and was of the Baptist Faith. Kathy will be greatly missed by her family and friends and the memories they made will be forever treasured.
