I worked with Milissa at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center formerly Park Plaza Hospital, she wax such an amazing person, our kids were in Band at Ridge Point HS. She absolutely loved her daughter, her face would simply light up whenever she talked about her. Brewer I am so sorry for your loss, keep on shining your light your mom was so proud of you. I worked with Melissa at Park Plaza Hospital years ago. I remember we spoke of our mothers one day. She loved to hear her moms voice when she called and the calmness and joy her voice brought after a busy day trying to get the physicians to appropriately use the electronic medical record. My mom died of breast cancer at age of 54. So hearing of Melissa and her lost fight just tears at me. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and especially “Mom”.

My Daughter grew up with Mellissa. They were on cheering teams together as peewees. I have very fond memories of this little blond girl who spent many hours at our house. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Milissa and I worked together for a handful of years at the hospital in Baton Rouge off O’Neal. She was HIM Director and I was HR Director. I can remember her energy, passion and love for her job, her staff, friends but most of all her daughter, Brewer. She spoke about Brewer like she was her life and nothing came between them. And this never stopped. Milissa kept her friends very close. Even when we all left that hospital, we all still remained very close with phone calls, emails, texts and Facebook. Milissa has a heart of gold. She brings that with her to heaven. She will be missed terribly by so many. God Bless. Jill

Milissa and I met at Ole Miss and although we lost contact for years. We both found each other when we needed each other the most. Brewer you were off to Ole Miss, you pledged Pi Phi and she was so proud but missed you so much. My life was a little crazy and she was so supportive and we would just hang out and keep each other company and act like we were back in college. We loved shopping, watching movies, drinking her yummy Chocolate Martinis, having Bloody Marys and crawfish at Rajin Cajun and watching Ole Miss Football. So much fun!!! I was so sad to see her move to Atlanta, but was so happy that she would be closer to you. Brewer, Your mom loved you so much and was so proud of you. The one thing that worried her the most was leaving you. You are so much like her and she was so proud of you and I know she will be watching over us all. I am truly gong to miss her, especially her beautiful smile. Love you both so much. Ida
