I met Steve back in 1994 thanks to AOL. He was one of the first friends I made online before ever meeting in person. And then when we did meet in person, we immediately clicked! So many memories at American Pie,Rose and Crown, Club Anytime and the 57th Fighter Group. He was always the life of the party, and the biggest flirt! But also the best guy in the room with the biggest heart! Genuinely one of the most sincere and giving guys I ever knew. I hate that life got in the way and we lost touch for a few years. But we recently connected before the pandemic and it was just like old times! Like nothing had changed at all. But due to the pandemic, I never got to see him in person again to give him a great big hug. Steve, thank you for ALL the great memories we’ve shared! And for being the teacher I never knew I needed! ::::smile::::: Until we see each other again, keep smile down on all of us and keep riding free! ❤️

Steve…. You were one in a million. You were the perfect friend to everyone. I can honestly say the NICEST man I have ever known. You will be missed by so many people. You never met a stranger. If you were friends with Steve you were family. You always met me with a big smile on your face and kind words. You were always the life of the party and always the joker. You will never be forgotten. You left everyone with great memories. I love you my friend. Life will never be the same without you. Rest In Peace.

Oh Steve, still can’t put words down. I think about you all the time. You were and will always be such a shining light for so many of us. Over 40 years of friendship and love, laughter and sweet memories. The car shows, bike rides, dinners, concerts, Kritter days and more will forever be etched in my memory. I love you forever and a day. Rest easy my sweet friend.

Steve was one of the most genuine souls I've ever met. He saw the beauty of simple things and the best qualities of those he knew. He didn't stay sad for long when life dealt setbacks and disappointments as it all to often does. His rare ability to make someone feel as if they were his closest friend will be missed. He was saved by Christ early in his life and walked with Him the best he knew how surrendering his faults to the Lords forgiveness. Steve is with Him now, I am confident. Rest in peace old friend. Until we meet again.

Dear Steve. Your beautiful spirit made this troubled world a better place and your love and compassion for others will reside in our hearts forever. Thank you for believing in me, even when I doubted myself. You were a minister of encouragement and my ability to help crime victims was inspired by your kindness. We love you and miss you, but I know that we will all be reunited in the blissful peace and eternity of Heaven one day.

Steve,
I will miss our fun conversations, birthday parties, BHS reunions (with Robert) etc. From day one at OEC, when you drove up in your Camaro, rocking out to the band RATT we became friends. Over the years, I have witnessed your humor, kindness, Godliness and humanity to all.!! You even took two weeks out of your schedule to fix our laptop for free because that’s who you are. You never met a stranger and put others before yourself. You truly are one of the nicest guys I have ever known. When I talked with you on 1/1/22 and you had been diagnosed with Covid pneumonia you were more concerned on how Robert and I were feeling verses yourself. This is a true testament of your Golden Soul.
Rest in Power old friend you will be greatly missed!

Steve and I worked very closely together during all his years at DTP. We travelled for work, we showed up early and stayed on the job late together, and we talked or texted almost every day. He came to work with 100% of his energy, he gave 100% every day, and he cared deeply about his trade and about the people he worked with. When he said "Love you brother" I know that he meant it.. All of us at DTP loved him, and our customers went on and on about his care and dedication.

As I sit here type this I can’t even hold the tears back !!! You are the most caring kind loving man I have ever had a pleasure in knowing!! I’m sure you have touched so many many people with your kindness and love, I know for me you have changed my life for the better just knowing you. It’s so hard everyday waking up and knowing I won’t hear your voice or your laugh. Or the “You Know” It’s so hard to say goodbye, so I’ll say until next time my love !!
My children and I will always remember and love you,
You will always be MY Steve “the knight in shinning armor ”

I am still in shock that we have lost this incredible soul. Steve loved to be with friends - all of whom he called his family. He had an incredible way to make you see the good in the world because HE was such a good person. He loved to laugh and make those around him laugh. Steve was so generous and would do or give anything to anybody if he thought it would help them. It was a privilege to have Steve in my life - if only for the last year. I will never forget this man and the impact he made on me. I am truly a better person for knowing and loving him. I will miss you terribly my sweet man!
