Obituary of Amanda Stevenson

Amanda Lynn Stevenson, 33 of Flowery Branch, passed on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 1 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Ernie Forrester will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends, Friday, March 18, 2022 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or the family request contributions be made to Gwinnett County Animal Welfare, in memory of Amanda.

Her energetic and vivacious spirit left a mark on all who knew her - intelligent, beautiful, and funny as heck. She is survived by her parents Leigh Ann Gentzel and Paul Stevenson, siblings Ronnie and Jillian Stevenson, grandparents Ronald and Linda Comeau and Louise Stevenson, stepparents Grayson Gentzel and Dawn Bailey. Also, step siblings, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Amanda was born August 14th, 1988 in Rockville Centre, New York and moved to Lawrenceville, Georgia at the age of 7. She graduated from Duluth High School and the University of GA. Animals, family, and dance were her passions. She had no pets, only fur babies of whom Mauriece was her beloved - her "son". 

May there be comfort in knowing that someone so special and fiercely loved will never be forgotten.
