Obituary of David Cich

David John Cich (Dave), 55, of Dacula, Georgia passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife Gwyn, August 12, 2022, from injuries sustained in an accident while traveling abroad.   

David was born in Buffalo, NY where he was raised and later graduated from Lackawanna High School in 1985. David is the founder and President/CEO of Vanguard Durst and Vanguard Europe. David was known for his love and admiration for his wife and children, and his kindness and generosity.

David is survived by his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Gwyn (Ganter); children, Chloe, Benjamin, and Jacob (fiancée Molly Cassidy); mother, Lucille (Myszkowski); his sister, Lisa Kubiak (children William and Sarah); brother, Raymond Jr. (children Calvin and Skylar); sister-in-law, Shelly Casner, (Children Madison and Beau, Husband Brian). He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Cich Sr., daughter, Claire Cich, and brother, Bryan Cich. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 22, 2022 at 11 AM at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. Reception to follow at Chateau Elan at 12:30 PM, all family and friends are welcome.
