Obituary of Janey Cooper

Janey House Cooper, 75, of Gainesville, GA, died Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Justin Twiggs will officiate. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4 – 8 PM at the funeral home and from 12 – 2 PM prior to the service on Friday. Janey was preceded in death by her, daughter, Lena Wills, and step daughter, Christy Barfield. She is survived by her husband, Larry Cooper of Gainesville; son, Greg Wills of Buford; step son and daughter-in-law, Greg Cooper and Andrea of Gainesville, step daughter, Michelle Twiggs (Scott) of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Shelby Gillen (Matt), Savanna Wills, Jordan DiSanto (Derek), Taylor Cooper, Justin Twiggs (Tara), Brittany Page (Jacob); great grandson, Colt Page; brother and sister-in-law, Billy House and Wanda of Buford; her dearly loved cats, Toby (deceased) and Callie. Janey was a lifelong resident of the Buford area and retired from Lennar Partners.
