Obituary of Bill Friedrichs

William Norman Friedrichs, 77 of Hoschton, GA passed to a better world on September 26, 2022. He was a kind, sweet man who loved life and he will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Vernette Friedrichs, daughter, Lesley McCabe (Drew), 3 grandchildren, Carson, Cameron, and Caleb and his sister Jody Martin (Doug). Niece Jennifer and Nephew Rick. Other survivors include his wife’s family who were an important part of his life.

He was born in Boulder City, Nevada and worked and lived in greater than 30 cities in his lifetime.

He was a man of many talents and was always willing to help others with technology problems, house maintenance, or any other problem brought to him. On e of his favorite phrases was “no problem.” He developed an interest in woodworking later in life and completed many beautiful projects including a bed frame for a special great niece and the cross in the nave of the church he loved. He was in the process of making a table for another special relative.

His careers were varied – Management in Technology companies, owning and running several small businesses – the last – his favorite – was a restoration business where he refinished basements and did other home improvements.

Although the last years of his life he dealt with major health issues, he continued to have a positive attitude and searched for ways to overcome his limitations.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 3 PM at The Episcopal Parish of St. Mary and St. Martha of Bethany, 4346 Ridge Road, Buford, GA 30519.
