Obituary of Sue Willis

Susan Eileen Willis, born February 15, 1951, to the late Wesley Milton Allen and Agnes Louise Allen in Lawrence, Massachusetts, died Friday, September 30, 2022. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Agnes Allen; husband of 34 years, James Henry Willis; brother, Ronald J. Collins and wife Doiletta; sister-in-law, Whilden Cook and husband Theron; granddaughter, Alyssa Buchanan. She is survived by her children, Mark Willis (Zonia), Bobbie Buchanan (Mike), Renee Folco (Gennaro), Jaime Rendelman (Nathan) and James Milton Willis (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Victoria Willis, Olivia Willis, Michael Buchanan (DeAnna), Cara Rendelman, Mauricio Willis, and Cesar Willis; great grandchildren, Adam Buchanan and Jake Buchanan; sister, Ruth Warosh; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Susan had many jobs in her life, but the most important was a stay-at-home mom. Her love of music, especially Country music, she instilled in her children. Her favorites were Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty, and Johnny Horton to name a few. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 3 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 12 – 3 PM prior to the service.
