Eleanor Alene Vaughn, age 56, of Buford, died Thursday, November 21, 2002 following an extended illness. Funeral service was held Sunday, November 24, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Maurice Witt officiated. Interment followed at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Saturday, November 23, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Surviving are: Son and Daughter In-law, A.T. and Tara Wilson, Buford; Grandchildren, Michael and Emory Wilson, Buford; Mother, Carolyn Russell, Flowery Branch; Brothers, George Vaughn, Gainesville, David Vaughn, FL, Henry Vaughn, FL; Sister, Sandra Tollefson, Oregon. Ms. Vaughn was a native of Colquitt Co., GA and lived in the area for the past 30 years. She was self employed in the health care industry and a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Gainesville, GA.
