Jesse Edgar Farris, Sr., age 98 of Hoschton, GA died Monday, December 2, 2013. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Robertsville Baptist Church, 251 Robertsville Road, Oak Ridge, TN. In lieu of flowers the Family request tax-deductible donations be made to Honor Flight-Jesse Farris, Sr. Memorial Fund, PO Box 81122 Conyers, GA 30013. Mr. Farris was preceded in death by his Wife, Virginia Brinkman Farris and Son, Wayne Douglas Farris. He is survived by his Children, Kenneth Robert Farris and Wife Catherine of Hoschton, GA, Jesse Edgar Farris, Jr., Los Angeles, CA, Sandy McLain, Jonesboro, GA. Grandchildren, Doug Farris, Katie Farris Perry, Megan McLain, Michelle McLain Morgan and Tyler Farris. 9 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Farris was born in Camp Hill, AL. He was a retired Insurance Claims Technician, a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Robertsville Baptist Church.
