Obituary of Willie Lou Wages

Willie Lou Wages, age 98, of Buford, GA, died Wednesday October 23, 2013 after an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Glenn Carson will officiate. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, Buford or Ebenezer Baptist Church, Dacula. She is preceded in death by her Parents, John L. and Jane Higgins, Husband, Harlan H. Wages, Daughter, Betty Jean Robinson, Son In-Law, Max Samples plus seven sisters, a brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by Children, Harla Samples, John Wages and wife Susan Martin Wages, Ettie Lou Buice and husband Robert J. Buice. 10 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Wages was born November 17, 1914 in Dacula, GA and was a lifelong resident of the area.
