Nona Sparks, age 59, of Lawrenceville, died Saturday, October 19, 2002 after an extended illness. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at 11:00 A.M.at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Elder John Stewart officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family received friends on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service. Ms. Sparks is survived by: Son, Ron "Scooter" Sparks, Lawrenceville; Daughters and Son In-laws, Ronda and Keith Berry, Loganville, Raney and John O'Sullivan, Loganville; Mother, Josephine Wilson, Albany; Sister, Marsha Fisher, New Orleans; 2 Grandchildren; Aunts and Cousins. Ms. Sparks was a native of Charleston, South Carolina. She was a home caregiver and a member of Gwinnett Bible Chapel.
