Obituary of Jaymie Leigh Flood

Jaymie L. Flood, age 36 of Monroe, GA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at 7 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, Buford. Rev. Tilly Welborn will officiate. Jaymie's family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, prior to the service, from 5 PM - 7 PM. Jaymie was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Dlean Hardy, and Pat Flood. She is survived by her father & mother, David & Vickie Flood, Buford; her three beloved children, Gauge Lawrence Futter, Madison Elaine Futter, and Jackson Glenn Futter, all of Monroe; her children's father & step-mother, Eric & Sharon Futter, Lawrenceville; step-brother, Ford Aaron, Lawrenceville; Sisters, Erika R. Radek, WA, Stephanie N. Hensley, Duluth; grandfathers, Albert Hardy, and Gordon Flood. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins also survive. Jaymie was born in Honolulu, HI on September 10, 1977. She had lived in the Metro Atlanta area for the past 28 years. She loved her children and her family very much. She also adored the many children she met during the several years she worked as a school bus driver for the Gwinnett and Barrow county schools. Later on in her life, she became employed with STS Utility Location Services, a challenging job that she also truly enjoyed. Jaymie will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
