Donald D. Millwood, age 66 of Buford, died suddenly Tuesday, October 1, 2002. A funeral Service was held Friday, October 4, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mark Whiting and Rev. Paul Wade officiated. Interment followed in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford. The Family received friends on Thursday, October 3, 2002 from 4-9 PM at the Funeral Home. Surviving are: Wife of 40 years, Anne Millwood, Buford: Daughter and Son In-law, Andrea and Paul Mitchell, Auburn; Son and Daughter In-law, Derek and Sherry Millwood, Homer; 6 Grandchildren; Brother, R.C. Millwood, Conyers; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Millwood was a life long resident of Gwinnett County and was a Veteran of the US Army. He was an Aircraft Develop Mechanic for Lockheed and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford.
