Obituary of Betty Lucille Tucker

Lucille L. Tucker , 74, of Buford, escaped her earthly life to join her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 17th.
She was born Betty Lucille Lambert on October 24, 1938 in Oakboro, North Carolina, but was known to her friends and family as Lucy. An excellent student, she graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in North Carolina and went on to receive her Associate of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky. She married Richard L. Tucker and traveled the world as a military spouse.
As an administrative specialist, Lucy worked for various organizations, including CIBA Vision, Gwinnett Right to Life, Ambassadors for Christ, and Billy Graham Ministries. She also served as the President of the Protestant Women of the Chapel in Nurnberg, Germany and Fort Lee, Virginia.
Lucy was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta where she was involved in several ministries, to include Senior Adults, Military, and Pre-school. Lucy was an avid reader and ambassador of her faith.
Lucy is survived by two children: Donna L. Fronek of Lawrenceville and David R. Tucker of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Casey Fronek, Trevor Fronek, Stacey Fronek, Jill Fronek, Kevin Fronek, and Sean Fronek of Lawrenceville.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2nd at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel and Gardens.
