27 years ago today, during a thunderstorm you came into this world and changed my life forever. Eight months ago, during a thunderstorm you left this world and again changed my life forever. Today, though, I want to celebrate your life, to thank you for the laughter, the joy, the happy moments that you brought to me and to so many others. You helped me see the world in a different light, to see the world again with new and fresh eyes. Instead of being discouraged because of the stormy weather you reminded me that without the storms rainbows could not be born. That ice storms were not an incovience with no power, but fairyland forests carved out of crystals sparkling like diamonds in the sun and the slightest breeze created a tinkling music of the spheres. You brought so much laughter to my life, you gave all of us so many joyful memories. I will always celebrate the day of your birth, Happy Birthday John, thank you for the gifts you gave me, the joy, the memories , for coming into this world to bring us all smiles and laughter.
