Obituary of Ellie M. Forrester

Ellie McClendon Forrester, age 100 of Hoschton, GA and formerly of Decatur died Monday, January 21, 2013. Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Bob Mahan will officiate. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Decatur. The Family will receive Friends Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Forrester is survived by her Daughter and Son In-law, Mary and Walter Pope, Hoschton. Daughter In-law, LaVonna Forrester, CA. 6- Grandchildren, 17- Great Grandchildren and 7- Great Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Lucile McGauhey, Mansfield, GA and Elizabeth Ozburn, Covington, GA. Mrs. Forrester was a native of Mansfield, GA and a lifelong resident of the Atlanta area. She was a longtime resident of the Clairmont Oaks community in Decatur.
