Wayne, I'm sure you don't remember me. But I worked with Eileen way back in the old MSA days when the SE regional office was in Executive Park. She & I were close at the time; I'm sorry we lost contact. Please tell Jonathan & Michael their mama talked about them all the time when they were little & even though I only met them a couple of times, hearing Eileen's stories I felt like I knew them well. I have super fun & fond memories of our girl friend's beach trips & fun times working together. I will always remember Eileen as having a smile on her face & taking life with a grain of salt no matter what was thrown her way. I'm so sorry for your loss Wayne, & for the boys & all family ... prayers for your comfort & peace.

Eileen was always very sweet to me and treated me like her little sister when I lived in Lawrenceville back in the day. She showed me how to be sweet to everyone because you never know what that person is going through. She was a beautiful person because she proudly showed not all of us are "perfect" and to walk tall in your differences. I loved her very much. And, I loved visiting her in her little garage bedroom, which I thought was the coolest bedroom ever because it was. She had so much patience with me and never made me feel like I was a burden or a pain-and that was a tall order. Thank you Eileen for accepting me as I was and teaching me what it meant to be strong and beautiful. She will be greatly missed. Sylvia Brown Short
