Julia Staci Mercier, age 43 of Sugar Hill, died suddenly on Monday, December 24, 2012. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Gary Christensen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at www.choa.org. Staci was preceded in death by her Father, Harry Mercier, Sister, Natalie Mercier, and Step-Father, Thomas Glaze, Sr. She is survived by Son and Daughter In-law, Jonathan and Shannon Streetman, Gainesville, Son, Ryan Hooks, Buford, and Daughter, Cynthia Hooks, Buford. Step-Daughter, Kristie Hooks Stith, Gainesville. Grandchildren, Natalie Streetman, Adison Streetman, and Maci Miller. Mother, Linda Pate Glaze, Lawrenceville. Step-Mother, Marie B. Mercier, Buford. Sisters, Michelle Mercier Hill, Atlanta, Nancy Glaze, Lawrenceville, Heidi Mercier, Buford, and Heather Mercier Brown, Cleveland. Step-Sisters, Melanie Glaze Metallinos, Buford, Anna Glaze Durrence, Buford, and Amy Glaze, Homer. Grandmother, Janice Berry, Buford. Partner, Hoyt Miller, Sugar Hill.
