"To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1
Derrick Tyler Bradley's life began on March 10, 1991 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born to Kimberly Bradley and was the son of Marvin Solomon. He was a very happy and active toddler. Derrick became a big brother at the age of two to Daija Reese. From that point on, the bond was set between Derrick and Daija and for Kim all things were centered on Derrick and Daija.
Derrick began his early education in the Pittsburgh Public School System. As a model student with outstanding academic achievements, he was recognized as Student of the Month on numerous occasions throughout his elementary school years. Derrick demonstrated his work ethic early on by showing up where it mattered most - in school every day and achieving perfect attendance throughout most of his academic career.
By age 11, Derrick and his family moved to Lawrenceville, Georgia where his academic successes continued and his social successes began. Derrick established many new friendships that he truly treasured. He graduated from Central Gwinnett High School in 2009 and went on to attend Georgia Gwinnett College. His endearing personality allowed him to be an asset in his vocational experiences working and interacting with children. He was employed at Gwinnett Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
Derrick possessed a smile that always lit up a room. He had a personality to match his heart of gold. Always a respectful and mannerable young man, he was an outstanding role model to his sister and younger cousins. They cherished and adored Derrick as well and loved him dearly.
