Obituary of David Jerome Hardee

David Jerome Hardee, age 54 of Gainesville, formerly of Buford, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002 following a brief illness. A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 3, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. G. Stephen Wood officiated. The family received friends on Friday, August 2, from 4 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Surviving are: Wife, Connie Hardee, Gainesville; Daughters and Sons In-law, Shannon and Stacy Rolin, Buford, Amanda and John Moorhead, Athens; Son and Daughter In-law, D.J. and Anna Hardee, Buford; Son, Matthew Hardee, Gainesville; Grandchildren, Zachary, Cameron and Spencer Hutchins, Matthew and Jenna Rolin, Cooper Hardee; Brothers and Sisters In-law, Curt and Mary Ann Hardee, Fayetteville, NC, Denny and Cathy Hardee, South Hill, VA; Mother In-law, Alma Liner, St. Simons; 1 Niece and 3 Nephews. Mr. Hardee was born in Whiteville, NC on July 4, 1948 to Col. James and Hazel Hardee. He was a US Army Veteran of the 129th Aviation Company and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of Sugar Hill United Methodist Church.
