Raymond Michael Holmes, age 60 of Braselton, Georgia, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Danny Newbern will officiate. The Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers the family request contributions be may to The American Cancer Society. Mr. Holmes is survived by his wife Karen Holmes, Braselton; Sons and Daughters In-law, Michael and Monica Holmes, Atlanta, David and Courtney Holmes, Smyrna; Daughter, Ashley Holmes, Suwanee; Sister, Karen Lombardi, Chevy Chase, MD; Brother, Kevin Holmes, Harrisburg, PA; Mr. Holmes was born in Hackensack, NJ and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 18 years.
