Obituary of Gladys Annie Ruth Patterson

Gladys Patterson, age 77, of Dacula, GA passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 28, at 2PM at Cherry Log Baptist Church Cemetery in Cherry Log, GA. Rev. Richard Wright will officiate. Gladys was born on February 9, 1935 in Lindale GA. She was the youngest of five children born to Willard and Lunette Dilbeck and grew up in McCaysville, GA. She was a homemaker most of her adult life while raising her 5 children. Later she worked with her sister in a silk screening business. She was an avid baseball fan and especially loved her Atlanta Braves. She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, her siblings and her great grandson. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Scott and Donna Patterson, Cindy and Dana Vinson, Sandra and Bob Petty, Marcus Patterson, and Doyle Patterson, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
