John W. Higgins, age 65 of Monroe, GA died Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Albert Whitlock will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive Friends Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 6-9 PM at the funeral home. John is survived by his wife, Jane Higgins, Monroe, GA. Daughter, Ronda Peavy, Monroe, GA. Grand Daughter, Lindsey Peavy, Monroe, GA. Sisters, Brenda Greeson, Buford, GA and Barbara O'Rouke, Buford, GA. Brother In-law, Rufus Bradshaw, Bethlehem, GA. Sister In-law, Ellen Scroggs, TN. John was a native of Buford, GA and a lifelong resident of the area. He was retired from Dolco Packaging Company in Lawrenceville and a Veteran of the US Marine Corps.
