I had the awesome privilege to be a companion to Ms Katie from February 2009 to February 2011. During this time we shared many thoughts, ideas, and stories of way back when. She loved her family emensly and this was evident whenever she spoke of them. She was a woman of grace and was very proud of her children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and the newest addition to the family little Annabelle. She has left a wonderful legacy to all who knew her. I will forever remember her smile. Prayers to all of her family.

Katie was such a delightful and fun loving lady. I always enjoyed visiting with her at our DAR meetings. I have missed seeing her in recent years. She always spoke so fondly of her family, you were each so important to her and she always found time to think of others.
