Papa Roy was such a positive person. He met no stranger. He loved everyone that came his way. He made such a posiive impact on everyone who knew him. "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me for the days of my life and I will dwell in thy house forever!" I know we are all better people for he has touched all of our lives in a very special way. He is a blessing to us and I am thankful I knew him and became a part of his family! I will always love him the most--forever!! Susan Singletary

Mr. Clayton will always be remembered by me as a genial, good-hearted man. Although I have not seen him in many, many years, I still remember his smiling face. My deepest sympathy goes to the Clayton Family at this time of great loss, but hold on to the fact that one day you will be reunited with him. God bless you all.

Dear Myra, Gary, Philip and Barbara, Runell and I were deeply saddened today to learn of Roy's passing. He was a man that we loved dearly, as did all you were blessed to have known him. In addition to being such great disciple of Jesus Christ, he was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend and God also blessed him with such a great voice. We just reminisced with tears in our eyes, remembering the great song he sang at out wedding in 1964. Now all God's children already at his side in heaven will be able to hear that lovely voice throughout eternity. We are so sorry we can't attend tomorrow's service as I am still recovering from back surgery two weeks ago. Our prayers and thoughts will be with all of you both tomorrow and moving forward. May God continue to bless all of you and may Roy rest in everlasting peace. We love you. Runell and Mike Cheek
