Mrs. Cooney was my kindergarten teacher at B.B.Harris in Duluth in 1987. She has always remained in my heart as my favorite teacher. She was the reason that I wanted to become a teacher. I hope that I am as good of a teacher as she was. She will always be in my heart and missed very much. I wish that I would have had the chance to tell her how much I appreciated her as my teacher. My wife Patricia and I were only a few months from meeting Patricia at Bobs 50th reunion last summer.Bob and I grew up together only a few houses apart and we were so looking forward to meeting patricia for the first time. We know from reading these heartfelt testimonials from her friends that we have missed a wonderful woman. I worked with Pat many years in the summer with Gateway Assessment. She was always so positive and good for a laugh. She knew how to lighten up a moment. I missed her when we no longer worked together. I send sympathy to her family and friends for their loss. Sarah Ann Mason

Pat was my mentor and then my friend. I would not be the teacher I am without her guidance. I know we will all miss her terribly, but I also know she will always be watching over us from heaven.

I miss Pat so much! As I know many do. Pat was always a great friend and neighbor. We had some great conversations through the years and enjoyed many parties with other neighbors. Pat was always there with a kind word, helpful advice, or a good laugh. I can see why her sons are such good people, they had a very honorable mother. She and Bob have been the ultimate married couple, loving and devoted to God, each other and their family. Surely Pat is in God's eternal and loving arms right now and we are all blessed for having known her!

Mrs. Cooney was a wonderful lady and a great mother to her 3 boys. I remember many days spent at their house growing up. She raised three of the most outstanding men you will ever meet: Robert, David, and Thomas. She will be greatly missed, but can rest well knowing she was such a fantastic mother. Our prayers are with your family.
