Obituary of George Edward Denson

George E. "Eddie" Denson Jr., age 62 of Sugar Hill, GA died Thursday, January 19, 2012 following an extended illness. Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Joey Wigley will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 2-4 PM - 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel for funeral expenses. Eddie was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Edna and George E. Denson Sr., Brother, David Denson and Nephew, Billy Feagins. Surviving are Sister, Linda Elrod, Buford. Brothers and Sisters In-law, Ricky and Ann Denson, Buford and Ronnie and Peggy Denson, Sugar Hill. Son and Daughter In-law, Eddie and Michelle Denson, McDonough, GA. Daughter, Tracy Fowler, LaGrange, GA. Grandchildren, Cory Denson, Kendall Denson, Kaylee Denson and Zachery Fisher. Several Nieces and Nephews. Eddie was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He also served on the USS Enterprise. He was a lifelong resident of Buford and was a well-known auto mechanic.
