Nancy W. Loonam, Age 78 of Demorest, GA died Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Mrs. Loonam has been cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Zack Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org or to Guiding Eyes For The Blind, PO Box 709, Yourktown Heights, NY 10598 in memory of Nancy Loonam. Mrs. Loonam is survived by her husband, Peter Loonam, Demorest, GA. Daughter and Son In-law, Joanne and George R. Platt, Dacula, GA. Grandchildren, Sean-Patrick Loonam Platt, Steven Peters and Kevin Peters all of Dacula, GA. Nancy was a native of Long Island, NY and had lived in the Atlanta area for the past 12 years.
