Obituary of James Gregory Hood

Mr. James Gregory "Greg" Hood, age 52, passed away suddenly on Wednesday August 31, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, Buford. Rev. Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. Greg's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until time of service. Greg is survived by his loving wife, Tina Hood, Buford; parents, Clarence and Lou Oma Hood, Stone Mountain; sister, Sheryl Skidmore and nephews Brian and Philip Skidmore, Lilburn; children, Kacie Hood, Christina and her husband Herman Morrow, Alicia Garden, Stephaine Crowe, and Jason Yother; grandchildren, Angellina Crowe, Madison Morrow, James Odom, and Jayice Yother. A number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Greg was a longtime resident of the Metro Atlanta area. Greg was self employed as a Hearing Aid Specialist at AAA Hearing Aid Service, a local company that he and his family owned and operated for many years.
