My favorite memories of Vicki were during the times when Joe was overseas. My son Nick was little and offered to help mow her lawn , but she still struggled with it herself instead. She was a strong woman. She was vibrant and full of life and we enjoyed her laughter and warm stories told around a fire pit during the winter months movie nights. We will hold you in our hearts and be blessed by your friendship again someday.... an Angel indeed , heaven has another Angel !!

i never got to really get to know Viki, but what I do remember and know of her she was a very sweet woman. The first time I meet her was when Tonya and Blake were dateing and I came over to hang out. I will never forget the halloween I came over dressed up and surprised her and everyone. She will be missed.

I never knew Vicki all that well. Through Lori, I knew much about her.
I remember when they met , I met her on thier first date. My dearest Vicki, we will forever be connected at the heart. You have always been my HERO. I am blessed to have had you in my life, and a better person for sharing life with you. The memories we have shared with Vicki and Joe throughout the years will never be forgotten. Then times we all went to the beach, all the times at our pool, and all the times at the family get togethers. There is no better treasure in life than a memory. There are many things I have admired about Vicki in the years since I met her. She was such a good wife for Joe, they enjoyed many of the same things and seemed to have fun together. As the years went by their love for each other seemed as fresh as new. She was his anchor.
She was a good Mother to both of the boys, and never was too busy to attend their many many ball games cheering them on. She was there at every one of Adam's games that I was able to attend.
Throughout her long and brave fight with her illness she remained positive, and kept working at her job much longer than most people would have expected. And made the best of her good days.
In recent photographs I can see the devotion she and Joe had for each other. They made several short trips in the past year, "stopping to smell the roses" so to speak. Joe was there beside her all the way throughout her illness.
I know her family and many friends will cherish her memory, the memories Vicki and Joe made together will be with him always.
Her life although much too short was a life well lived.
Go with God dear Vicki.

Vicki faced cancer square in the face with a sense of determination yet w/ a peaceful spirit. She is an inspiration to me and all those in the Cancer Support Team at DeKalb Medical. Joe has been the best husband, caregiver and cheerleader throughout her journey and I wish him and all the family the strength they need to face such a huge loss.

A beautiful lady, that was a loving and loyal Wife and Mother.
She had a vivacious personality and a contagious giggle! She loved life and had a very kind heart. I awlays admired her optimism and laid back look at life, even before she got sick. Her courage and strength were amazing.
