Doris Morgenroth, mother of my friend Kelly, always had a twinkle in her eye, and a quick witted response up her sleeve. I never recall a time when she was not fully engaged when interacting with someone. She always had a quip, and was quick-draw McGraw with that dry humor. I chuckle at the memory.
That dry wit was in stark contrast to her big-hearted dedication to helping lost pets; her contribution of time and energy for strays was remarkable, extraordinary.
She will be greatly missed, both twinkle and wit; I for one will be forever grateful for the joy she created in and for others.
