Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. .........................My grandfather's wealth of knowledge has never been written but, he has passed that to all of us - His Legacy - He did with grace seasoned with salt. I remember the first time Tommy and I met Ervin and Frances. It was in 1985 at Duluth Church of God in a Sunday night service. After church they invited us to go get something to eat and visit awhile with them and Michael....which we did. Who would have known that less than two years later we would be sitting at Duluth Church of God on opposites sides of the church as our Brad and their daughter Angie were united in marriage. Mr. Hall was a true example of a Godly man , he brought his family up in the fear of the Lord and then they reached out to me, a young impressionable 15 year old neighbor who knew nothing of the things of God, the very first night they took me to church i received Christ as my savior and am serving Him to this day 31 years later, thank you Mr. Hall and Mrs. Hall and family for your commitment to God and to reaching the lost, i know Mr. Hall is now standing with a crown full of jewels!

So many memories! One super special...Beverly and me...we were two little girls playing with our first reel to reel tape recorder. We interviewed Ervin then he played turnabout and interviewed me. I told of the great savings I reaped by using Ivory liquid and described in great detail all the glorious things I would buy with those savings...a new living room suit, bedroom suit and on and on. Thanks Ervin for the love you gave to the little girl next door. You were an amazing man. I love you and thank God for you. Sandra McAllister Hughes

I was with Ervin when he got his first answering machine. When it came time to record the greeting, I hit the button and told him to leave a greeting. He said, "You have reached Ervin and Frances Hall. Please leave your name and address and we will get back with you". I stopped the recording and started laughing, I said, "Are you going to send them a postcard?" He then realized what he said, and we laughed about that together for years!! Brad, Angie, Bradley, Matthew and Jake Morgan. We Love you PaPa Ernie!
