Obituary of Dot Bray Jackson

Dartha Bray "Dot" Jackson, age 76 of Buford, formerly of Carnesville, GA, entered into rest Monday, April 15, 2002. Funeral service was held Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Stanley Bray, Rev. James Dumas, Rev. Roy Lee Mitchell officiated. Interment followed in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford. The family received friends on Tuesday, April 16, from 4:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jackson and daughter, Rhonda Jackson Garvin. Her memories will forever be cherished by her daughters and sons in-law, Debbie and Cleve Stanfield, Buford, Betty and Don Davenport, Gainesville; Grandchildren, Kevin Stanfield, Kyle and Gwen Stanfield, Gene and Jamey Garvin, Greg and Christy Garvin, Theresa and Mike Bennett, Charles and Connie Davenport, Jack and Terri Davenport, Terry and Jill Davenport. 17 Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Viola Cress, Carnesville and Elsie Cook, Daleville, AL. Brothers, Seldon Bray, Royston and J.C. Bray, Anderson, SC. Mrs Jackson was born October 23, 1925 and was a member of Zidon Baptist Church, Royston. "Mamaw" was a treasure to all her family and will be missed deeply.
