Carl E. Eickhoff, age 86 of Buford, GA died Sunday, November 14, 2010. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Mr. Eickhoff was preceded in death by his wife Erika Eickhoff. Surviving are his Sons and Daughters In-law, Walter and Kay Eickhoff, MT, Leonard and Linda Eickhoff, IL. Daughters and Sons In-law, Regina and Charlie Weiner, AK and Elisabeth Eickhoff and Greg Gentry, Buford, GA. Grand Children, Stephen Eickhoff, Matthew Eickhoff, Kathryn Eickhoff, Philip Eickhoff, Erika Weiner and Cynthia Eickhoff. Mr. Eickhoff was a native of Covington, KY and had lived in the metro Atlanta area for the past 4 years. He was a 22 year veteran of the US Army where he served in WWII and Korea.
