Obituary of Tonya Lynn Burns

Tonya Greene King Burns, age 61, of Lawrenceville, GA, died on Sunday, October 10, 2010, in Sweetwater, TN, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 16, at 1PM, at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel in Buford, GA. Pastor Chris Huff will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Tonya's family would like for all donations be made to the Barrow County Animal Shelter, 616 Barrow Park Drive, Winder, GA. 30680. Tonya is preceded in death by her father, Frank P. Greene. She is survived by her Husband, Al Burns, Lawrenceville; Son, Brian King, East Holden, ME; Daughters Michele Wilson, Hoschton, and Danielle King, Monroe; Mother, Edna Greene, and Brother, Donald Greene, both of Tonopah, AZ; Step Daughters, Stephanie Sterry, Oriville, CA, and Lisa Tomlinson, Fort Campbell, KY; Step Sons, Jake Burns, Charleston, WV, Eric Burns, and Mike Burns, both of Lawrenceville; and 10 Grandchildren. Formerly of Bangor, ME, Tonya had lived in the Metro Atlanta area for the past 27 years. She was employed with Jackson EMC.
