Charles Michael "Mike" Bruce, age 55, of Buford, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010, following an extended illness. Funeral service will be Friday, October 8, 2010, 10:30 AM, at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darrell Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-9PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067 or www.heart.org.
Mike was preceded in death by his Father, Charles M. Bruce, and Mother In-Law, Venice Merck. He is survived by his Wife, Gail Bruce; Mother, Sarah Bruce; Brother & Sister In-Law, Mark & Pat Bruce, all of Buford. Father In-Law, Guss Merck, Stone Mountain; Brother In-Law & Sister in-Law, Earl & Susan Merck, Loganville; and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, & Nephews.
Mike was a lifelong resident of Buford where he was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
