Obituary of Archie Lee Cofer

Archie Lee "Doc" Cofer, age 78, of Lawrenceville, GA died suddenly on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Funeral service will be Friday, October 8, 2010, 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Danny Newbern and Dr. Kary Harris will officiate. Interment will be at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-9 on Thursday. The family requests, in lieu flowers, that donations be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 3390 South Puckett Rd., Buford, GA 30519. Doc was preceded in death by his grandson Johnny Timms. He is survived by his wife, Camilla "Cam" Cofer, Lawrenceville. Daughters Therasa Patric, Flowery Branch; Debby Ridings, Ball Ground; Vickie Sargent, Jasper; and Son, Freddy Cofer, Flowery Branch. 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren. All of his beloved Jack Russells, Amy, Stormy, Spice, Meg, Farrah, and Duchess. Doc was a life long resident of the Buford area. He was a retired butcher and had worked for Holiday Supermarket.
