Ruth White Metcalf age, 94 of Sugar Hill, died March 17, 2002 after an extended illness. Funeral service was be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at 11:00 AM from the graveside at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Rev. Bill Crossland Officiated. The family has requested there be no visitation and those desiring may meet at the front gate at Westview Cemetery at 10:45 AM on Wednesday. Surviving are: Daughter, Anne Kerkhoff, Sugar Hill; Grandchildren, Melanie Lancaster, Decatur, Michael Flack, Peachtree Corners: Niece, Roberta Armstrong, Cullman, AL: Nephews, Francis Brown, Charleston, SC, Christopher Toshach, Memphis, TN and John Toshach, St. Mary's, GA. Mrs. Metcalf was retired from the United States Civil Service, a Lioness and a member of the Buford Presbyterian Church.
