Obituary of Kayla Jae Jones

Kayla Jae Jones, age 17 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010. A funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Phil Robertson and Pastor Patrick Blackmon will officiate. Interment will be in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 - 4 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the AFLAC Cancer Center, 1687 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329 or www.aflaccancercenter.org.
Kayla is survived by her Mother, Amber Martin Chandler of Grayson; Father, Jay Jones of Baton Rouge, LA; Sisters, Allison Jones and Ashley Chandler both of Grayson; Grandparents, Charlotte & Bob Martin of Pensacola, FL, and Georgia & Harry Jones of Clayton, AL.
Kayla was born on December 24, 1992, in Pensacola, FL and had been living in the Metro Atlanta area for the last 15 years. She attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lawrenceville. She was also a senior at Archer High School in Lawrenceville, and worked at Bill Rhodes Bakery at the Hamilton Mill & Snellville locations.
