Mr. John L. Griffin, age 58, of Dacula,(Atlanta) GA, died Monday, March 11, 2002, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA after an extended illness. Funeral service was held Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Billy Beard officiated. Interment followed in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family received Friends on Tuesday, March 12, from 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home.
Surviving are: Wife, Glenda Griffin, Dacula, GA; Son and Daughter In-law, John "Scott" and Connie Griffin, Milledgeville, GA; Daughter and Son In-law, Amy G. and Paul "Mickey" Beardslee, Suwanee, GA; 3 Grandchildren, Amber Griffin, age 3, Andrew, age 5 and Tiffany, age 8, Beardslee; Mother, Gladys "Pat" W. Griffin, Kernersville, NC; Father, Charles M. Griffin, Benton, AK; Brother, James M. Griffin,Kernersville, NC ; Mother In-law, Leona S. Beck, Buford,GA.
Mr. Griffin was born in Guilford County, NC on September 21, 1943 and resided in Trinity, NC until 1991 when he moved to the Atlanta, GA area. He was employed by AP Ward Consulting, a member of RCI, RRO and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Dacula.
