Roger Shane Holmes, age 46, of Buford, GA, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20, 2010, at 6:00 PM, at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Mr. Holmes will be cremated following the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 19, from 4PM to 8PM. Roger is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joy Holmes; Father, Cotton Holmes; Sisters, Kim Holmes and Andie Delgado, all of Buford; Brothers, Phillip Hopper, of TN, and Ray Holmes of TX; Nephews, Conrad Holmes, Elijah Holmes, David Delgado, and Pop Pop Delgado, of Buford; Nieces, Taylor Holmes, Maggie Holmes, Kayren Holmes, of Buford, and Angel Hopper, TN; Step Sons, Micah Mansur, Sugar Hill, and Jonathan Mansur, US Army. Roger was a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area where he worked as a plumber in the construction industry.
