Obituary of Kathryn Robison Smith

Mrs. Kathryn Robison Smith, "MeMe", age 91 of Buford, GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Mrs. Smith was formerly from Monroe, GA. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Paul Garner and Rev. Brenda Westmoreland will officiate. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery, Monroe, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 3PM until 7PM at the funeral home. Smith - In honor of Braydon Franzoni. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Belk Smith. She is survived by her Daughter, Kay Cruce; Daughter and Son In-law, Helen and Stanley Bennett; Grandchildren, Angela and Tim Robinson, Laura and Chris Franzoni, Buford, Jim and Cecilia Bennett, Cullman, AL; Great Grandchildren, April Queen, Amanda and Harrison Smith, Ty and Bethany Robinson, Tanner and Braydon Franzoni, Buford. 10 Great Great Grandchildren. Sister, Frances Coker. Brothers John and Wesley Robison, Monroe. Many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Smith was born on October 23, 1918 in Monroe. She was one of the oldest members of Monroe First Christian Church. She retired from Belks Dept. Store at the age of 75.
