Thelma Phillips Tullis, age 84 of Buford, GA died Sunday, April 25, 2010. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford. Rev. Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6-7 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tullis was preceded in death by her Husband, Spurgeon Tullis and Son, David Tullis. Surviving are Sons and Daughters In-law, Chester and Mary Tullis, Smiths, AL, Jimmie and Diana Tullis, Franklin, TN. Daughter and Son In-law, Genia and Michael Lanza, Tampa, FL. 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Thelma was born in Oakwood, GA and was a life long resident of the area. She was retired from Genesco Shoe Co. and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford.
