Obituary of Sandra Sue Schutjer

Sandra Sue Schutjer, 65, died in her son's home in Hoschton, GA on Sunday, April 18, 2010. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m. at the Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church; the family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. at the church. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be given to the Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held in Floris, Iowa. Born in Ottumwa, Iowa, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Myrtle Wilson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Wilson of Ottumwa, Iowa. She is survived by her husband, Randy Schutjer of Lawrenceville, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Homer and Helen Wilson of Mariposa, California; daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Dana Smith of West Des Moines, Iowa; son and daughter-in-law, Doug Holan and Joy Thompson-Holan of Hoschton, Georgia; and five grandchildren - Megan, Reece, Tristan, Kelsey, and Chaz. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she had many interests over the years, including sailing, beading, fossil-hunting, and most of all, music. She was also a dedicated employee at Global Payments Inc. The family wishes to extend special thanks to their friends and to Christine and Gallia from Hospice of Northeast Georgia.
