Gary Jerome Appling, age 44 of Buford, GA died suddenly on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Chad Roebuck will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford. The Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 1:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Gary is survived by his son Dakota Michael Appling and his mother Michelle Griffith, Gainesville; Parents, Jerry and Emily Appling, Young Harris; Brother and Sister In-law, Michael and Lisa Appling, Buford; Brothers, David Appling, Calhoun, Steven Appling, Blairsville; Sister and Brother In-law, Deborah and Charlie Russell, Young Harris; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Gary was a native of Gwinnett County and was a life long resident of the area. He was a cabinet maker and of the Protestant faith.
