Obituary of Edna Ruth Emory

Edna Ruth Newell Emory, age 92 of Buford, Georgia, died Friday, January 15, 2010. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Sherry Morrison will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 1:00 PM until time of service. Ms. Emory is survived by her Daughter and Son In-law, Linda and Charles Topping, Calhoun, Daughter, Ann Triviette, Buford; Grandchildren, Kim and Steve Walden, Lisa and Charles Hanes, Lesley and John Harrison, Charles H. Topping, III; Great Grandchildren, Caroline Walden, Erin Walden, Gabriel Hanes, Colby Hanes, Samuel Harrison, II, Lindy Harrison; Brother and Sister In-law, John Bennett Newell and Christine, Virginia. Ms Emory was a native of Greensboro, NC and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 25 years. She was a retired supervisor in the auto parts industry, a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Norcross and a former member of First Lutheran Church, Greensboro, NC. She was a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir.
