Obituary of Bill L. Phiel

William L. "Bill" Phiel, age 84 of Hoschton, GA died Monday, December 14, 2009 after a brief illness. Mr. Phiel has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Dr. Truett Gannon will officiate. The Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. The Family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Peachtree Christian Hospice, 3430 Duluth Park Lane, Duluth, GA 30096. Mr. Phiel is survived by his wife, Dorothy Phiel, Hoschton, GA. Sons, Brian Phiel, Washington State, David Phiel, Longwood, FL. Daughter and Son In-law, Susan and Danny Kingston, Pompano Beach, FL. Daughter, Shari Phiel, Tillamook, OR. Step-sons Danny McWilliams and wife JoAnn, Atlanta, GA and Mike McWilliams, Flowery Branch, GA. 8 Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Phiel was a native of Elyra, OH and had lived in metro Atlanta the past 50 years. He was employed with The Norton Agency in Buford and Gainesville and was a veteran of the US Air force where he served in China during WWII.
